Extreme Networks, often described as a mini-CISCO, has selected eTelemetry to join the Go Purple Partners Program, where the companies are teaming to provide best-of-breed and proven interoperable networks.  eTelemetry management reports that activity is already underway and new sales could be seen as early as Q4 due to this new partnership.  Extreme Network, a provider of converged Ethernet networks that support data, voice and video for enterprises and service providers, has a 400+ VAR network which eTelemetry views as a strategic benefit.  Extreme Networks customers will now have access to advanced asset management capabilities using eTelemetry's flagship network application Locate.  Locate provides user identity and locations data to achieve endpoint visibility without having to deploy costly NAC or desktop agents.  Click here for the full press release.
